Women in Cardiology Scientific Symposium and Book Release
Join Women as One for a Scientific Symposium sponsored by Esperion Therapeutics, where we will review the past, present, and future landscape for women in cardiology. During the symposium, the data from CLEAR Outcomes presented at ACC will be reviewed. This will be followed by a lively panel discussion moderated by Dr. Pam Taub, featuring Dr. Leslie Cho, Dr. Annabelle Volgman and other experts on the topic of increasing diversity in clinical trial participation and leadership. Finally, Esperion, along with Women as One, will present the results of their collaboration in the form of a design-driven hardcover book, The Pulse of Change. The book highlights the latest research and historical data related to gender-based disparities in cardiovascular care and within the profession of cardiology. Every attendee will receive a copy of this special edition publication. This event is a unique opportunity to celebrate women pioneers in the field of cardiology, and discuss the work still needed to reach true gender parity.
