How can I apply for the Research Scholars award?
Applicants must be nominated by a current member of CVCT academic faculty and/or a Women As One faculty member. All applications will be reviewed by our selection committee, which is comprised of senior leaders in the field.
Will RISE be back for 2025?
Yes! Join us in Madrid on August 28 as we partner once again with The European Society of Cardiology. Learn more.
What is the format of the RISE conference?
RISE is a full-day, in-person conference comprised of interactive sessions, workshops, panel discussions, and more, all focused on a key aspect of professional development for women physicians.
What is Women As One?
Women As One was founded in 2019 by Dr Roxana Mehran and Dr Marie-Claude Morice, two internationally recognized leaders in cardiovascular care and research. We are a public 501(c)(3) charity. Learn more about us here.
How can I support your mission?
You can share about Women As One with your networks and help support women in your organization to find our programs so we can have a greater impact. As a a public 501(c)(3) charity you can also make a financial donation. Women cardiologists can join the Talent Directory today to gain access to opportunities.
How can I participate in your programs?
To participate in our programs, women cardiologists must join our community through the Talent Directory where you can then apply. We recommend registering with your personal email address to ensure seamless access and continuity even if you change institutions.
How can my organization work with Women As One?
We support organizations to achieve their diversity, equity and inclusion goals by matching our resources to their needs. I’m not from the US, can I donate from overseas?
Definitely! You can check out using PayPal or a credit card, and the amount in USD will be converted from your local currency. Donate here.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes. Women As One is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your US taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We’ll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.
