Women As One was founded in 2019 by Dr Roxana Mehran and Dr Marie-Claude Morice, two internationally recognized leaders in cardiovascular care and research. We are a public 501(c)(3) charity. Learn more about us here.

Yes. Women As One is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. To claim a donation as a deduction on your US taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. We’ll send it to you upon successful completion of your donation.
We support organizations to achieve their diversity, equity and inclusion goals by matching our resources to their needs. We run several live events throughout the year in collaboration with our industry partners and we’re present at major conferences across the globe. We also run our annual in-person conference, RISE. Launched in 2023, RISE is an annual in-person conference developed to provide a unique forum for professional development training for women in healthcare. RISE offers participants an opportunity to build non-clinical skills critical to career advancement. Learn more about RISE here.
